WHERE WE ARE

The Alícia Foundation is located in the Món Sant Benet complex, in the municipality of Sant Fruitós de Bages, near Manresa and only 45 minutes from Barcelona.

This is a cultural and leisure activities centre with an area of 18 hectares that combines medieval art and nature to provide a unique, singular space in Catalonia, in which the monastery is the principal attraction. Món Sant Benet was opened in the last quarter of 2007.

The headquarters of Alícia is located in the centre of the complex, in a highly individual building in the form of an A, laid out on a single storey and with an open-plan approach to multiple functions and activities. The building project was the work of the Clotet-Paricio architecture studio, while the cuisine and research space, the interior design and the furniture in general was created with advice from the architect Oliver Schmidt.

From Barcelona

By car:

C-58 to Terrassa, once there take the C-16 until you reach exit 54 (St. Fruitós de Bages - Navarcles) and from there take the N-141 towards Navarcles. After 450 metres, you will see the sign for Monestir de Sant Benet, turn right and take the road to Món Sant Benet.

By public transport:

The Barcelona Sants - Manresa route can be taken on the R4 Rodalies RENFE line. Once in Manresa, you can complete the journey to Món Sant Benet by taxi - there is a stop at the train station itself - or by bus. If you opt for public transport, go to the bus stop in Plaça Espanya in Manresa. Take line number 751 to Navarcles. There is a 15-minute walk from the Navarcles bus stop to the monastery.

From Tarragona

By car:

AP-7 motorway, towards Girona - France until exit 25 towards the A2, towards Manresa. Once there, take the C-16 until you reach exit 54 (St. Fruitós de Bages - Navarcles) and from there take the N-141 towards Navarcles. After 450 metres, you will see the sign for Monestir de Sant Benet, turn right and take the road to Món Sant Benet.

By public transport:

Mid-Distance RENFE Tarragona- Barcelona Sants. From here you can take the Rodalies train on the R4 line to Manresa, where you can continue your journey to Sant Fruitós de Bages with buses numbers 751, 722, 715 and 712.

From Girona

By car:

AP-7 motorway going south until exit 8, at CIM La Selva. Once there, take the C-25 towards Vic until exit 141B, take the C-16 until exit 54 (St. Fruitós de Bages - Navarcles) and from there take the N-141 towards Navarcles. After 800 metres, you will see the sign for Monestir de Sant Benet, turn right and take the road to Món Sant Benet.

From Lleida

By car:

A-2 motorway towards Manresa until exit 518, from where you can join the C-25 going towards Girona. When you reach exit 141 A, take the C-16 until you reach exit 54 (St. Fruitós de Bages - Navarcles) and from there take the N-141 towards Navarcles. After 800 metres, you will see the sign for Monestir de Sant Benet, turn right and take the road to Món Sant Benet.
